This is the best kit to use for building a sniper clone or bringing a sporter back to its proper look, but a bad idea for a correct restoration. I knew from the start that some of the parts would be reproductions. It turns out that over 2/3 of the kit was repro along with all of the '03a3 substitutions. The 2 parts I was most annoyed about were the rear sight assembly and the middle band. The sight "assembly" was a bag of loose parts and required fitting and refinishing to a point that it was almost not even worth putting together. The middle band is original, but mine was sent as a piece of junk that looks like it was ran over by a forklift! In the end what I did use was worth the price, so you get what you pay for.
