Beautiful replication of the U.S. WWII M7 shoulder holster in rich russet brown color. Marked U.S. the M7 is the improvement over the M3 with the addition of additional straps. Finer adjustment and shoulder pad.  Color is WWII russet brown. Used by tanker and pilots and whoever could scrounge one. (color may vary from picture)

Beautiful, quality, should last a lifetime

I am very very pleased, as always with SARCO, this holster is top-grain leather, excellent tanning. Use liberal amounts of neatsfoot or lanolin leather teatment, rub for hours and it will be soft and smooth like a womans *** and just beautiful leather.

Really red in color
David Prigga (Sistersville, WV) 1/8/2016 5:06 PM
I have wanted one of these holsters for years and finally got one for Christmas. What a disappointment! The color is red, not russet brown. There is nothing brown about it. The product picture doesn't show just how red the color really is. The shoulder strap is pretty short. I'm not a huge guy but I had to make it as long as possible to get it to fit. What a pain it was to adjust. The shoulder strap has tiny little holes that a small leather strip has to fit through and back to secure itself to adjust the length. It took forever to work that strip through those tiny holes, even with a pair of needle nose pliers. So, if you like red, are a smaller, thin guy and have the patience of a saint, this holster may be for you.

Great holster

Fits my well worn Colt 1911 from 1933 very well after I put the pistol in a thick plastic bag and pushed it into place, and left it overnight. Once I figured out the straps, very comfortable. I'm going to use this carry my Colt under my jacket when out hunting.

Great price amazing product

Recieved holster very quickly and was stiff (but that was to be expected) oiled my up with some neatsfoot oil the color darkened up to my liking and formed to my 1911 perfectly. It's also very comfortable for me.

M7 shoulder holster

This is a very good value, and appears to meet the milspecs of an original I have from WW2. It appears to have shrunk while in storage, but the application of Neatsfoot oil (NOT linseed oil!) should soften it quickly. I also use wooden models of various pistols for holstermaking, and I am using my 1911 model to stretch this holster out. That way I don't worry about marring the finish on a real pistol. An alternative is to wrap your pistol in a heavy duty plastic bag, apply Neatsfoot oil and push it into place.
