    "Enfeild Bayonet"

This is NOT made for an "Enfield" jungle carbine, but rather the RFI "jungle carbine", that only wants to be an Enfield JC. The locking mechanism is slightly different and if the seller had actually checked the fit before wasting everyone's time and money, they wouldn't be listing these as Enfield compatable.
The quality of the item is ok, but fits loosely and wobbles in the scabbard.
Overall, I'd recommend no one buys this for anything other than a bubba'fied pos Indian No7 jungle carbine in 7.62 Nato. I have one of those and it fits/locks perfectly onto it.
Bottom line, Run away and don't look back

Overall a very well made reproduction. Fit and finish was a little loose but was easily fixed. Well worth the money considering an original would be 8 to 10 times as much.

poor quality reproduction. Handle fits crooked, milling marks in groove and file marks on butt.

    Not bad...

The reproduction No.5 ‘Jungle Carbine’ bayonet I’d received had machine marks in the fuller and the screws in the grip/tang were not in line with each other (when compared to originals). I also noticed that the “R.F.I.” marking on the blade is not as crisp as blade stamps on original examples. Otherwise, it was pretty good. It’s solid and pretty well made. I’m planning on removing some of the bluing on the blade and ‘antiquing’ the blade a bit to make it look closer to originsls.
