Excellent 1911 Frame
Brian Dutton (SEALE, AL) 12/16/2014 2:06 PM
Nice frame, great price for a 1911 building project. Parkerized finish matches well with USGI Govt model builds. The frame is not totally forgiving with all USGI/WWII parts. I had to try several grip safeties and triggers, but ultimately everything went together without any fitting required. Does not come with the plunger spring tube but that is not a difficult task with the proper tool. I would definitely purchase this frame again for another build.

Got it from my FFL. The frame assembly kit arrived too. Now - to put it together (that's what I bought it for - learning).

.22 1911 build
Joe Black (COPPERAS COVE, TX) 5/19/2014 4:25 PM
This is the fourth receiver I have purchased from Sarco. I just took the last one and built a 1911 .22. Took it to the range and fired 100 rounds through it, and no problems at all. Put a .45 upper on it and still no problems. I recommend these receivers to any 1911 builder.

First build
Alex Cockroft (Fort Worth, TX) 5/6/2014 8:20 PM
It would be a 5 except the right side grip screw holes were not tapped. I bought a tap and fixed them and now I'm ready to build another.
