Very nice reproduction. Needs instructions

Faithful repro of original. I had to scour the internet however to find original dimensional drawings for mounting. After fixturing barreled receiver in the mill, I discovered the rear portion of the receiver had some hard spots where some of the holes go. I actually had to pilot the three rear holes through with carbide because the high speed tooling included wouldn't even touch it. I still haven't got the 1 #4 BA hole tapped because of this hardness issue. I have opted to tap the remaining hole #6-40 because I have a carbide tap available. The included tools are high quality, just not suitable if you run into hard spots like I did. It took me close to 4 hours to fixture, drill, & tap 5 holes because of the hard receiver. The mounting blocks also require a light striking with a file and stoning to get them flat. I wouldn't recommend taking on this project unless you've got a Bridgeport with a D.R.O. Definitely take your time tapping and frequently clear chips and you should be ok. Quality repoduction

Overall this a nice package for building a No4 Mk1 (t) sniper rifle. Optics are clear, elevation and windage adjustment are at 2 minutes and positive. Scope adjustment tool included in the set is a time saver and a must. Instructions are not included for using the scope adjustment tool or for mounting the scope pads. Be nice if a cheek pad could be included at the same price. I would buy another kit.

Nice scope kit

Nice kit, came well packaged. No instructions on how to mount the pads or adjust the scope. Only complaint I have, is that one screw on the ID plate was stripped out. tried to call SARCO and when transferred I get an answering machine. Over all happy with the kit.

Nice Scope, well made

Only problem I had was the carry case was damaged, some work had to be done on the scope adapter pad thread, test fired and had no problem sighting in at 100 yards, 3 to 4 inch group, still need to do some adjusting, all in all I like the scope and suggest that SARCO start checking the packages for damage, easy to install as all tools needed are in the kit.
