Took a fair amount of hand work to make it fit.

I have a 10/22 built back in the 1980's and I had to do a large amount of fitting to get the stock on the rifle. After that as stated in the other review I smoothed off the square edges and stained it again. Looks good on the 10/22. Better than I thought it would.
Decent Replication

Overall a nice stock. Disappointed to see the MADE IN TAIWAN sticker on it though.
Dressing Up Takes A Little Prep

A nice reproduction but it needed some help. The stock had too many square edges and a poor finish. I completely disassembled the stock, sanded off the old finish and reshaped the pistol grip and front lower hand grip. After giving the whole stock a good sanding I applied several coats of boiled linseed oil. The results are spectacular and well worth the extra effort. This stock conversion makes a great addition to my collection. I recommend this stock whether you want to use it right out of the box or if you want to put a little work into it.
