$45.00

British 50 rd. bandolier created during the Zulu Wars to help mounted troops deal with unpleasant situations like being overrun at Isandlwana and hanging by the skin of their teeth at Rorkes Drift because ammunition issue was challenging.

Ruggedly made and stitched to hold 50 rounds of 577/.450 Martini ammunition (also holds shotgun ammo 24 ga – and can be softened to hold 12 ga rds in most holes accept where the fasteners are). Has strap to fasten to a waist belt for a secure fit. Three of these make a ‘rough riding’ cross chest & waist Pancho Villa style set! Very thick brown leather with brass hardware. Although it is meant as an over the shoulder bandolier, it is also a comfortable waist belt bandolier fitting up to a 45" waist.
