EXCELLENT VALUE & Sarco did me a BIG favor
Casual Target Shooter (USA) 7/29/2016 7:03 PM
Bought the 3-for-$369-each deal. It was so cool of Sarco to send me 3 pistols with consecutive numbers!!! I really, really appreciated that. That's going above & beyond and showing some care for the customer. As for the RIA 1911: I thoroughly disassembled all 3, and cleaned them of the heavy factory grease, and then re-lubricated them with Ballistol. Two went back in their boxes and probably won't be fired for a long time. The third I took to the range. My first time with it, I put about 200 cast bullet reloads in the first range session, and had 8-10 FTExtract/Ejects. Accuracy at 7/15/50 yards was excellent. I took it home and cleaned it. At that session, I also used a couple of the inexpensive 1911 mags sold by Sarco. The next time at the range, I put about 400 rounds through it, using only the RIA factory mag. NOT A SINGLE FTEJECT/EXTRACT! Same ammo. Accuracy at all ranges is once again excellent. I will probably add a beavertail grip safety at some point, as I hold the pistol with my hand high on the grip, and the factory safety "bites" the web of my hand a little. That is of little consequence, though, and my hand may be different than yours. This pistol is an excellent value. It shoots as well as or better than my old favorite SA XD 5" tactical pistol. It cycles RN, SWC, and RNFP cast lead bullets with ease. It is very accurate. Only 5 or 6 thousand rounds will really "tell the tale," but, at this point, I am very happy with the pistol, and VERY, VERY happy with the firearms order handlers at Sarco!!! They went ABOVE AND BEYOND, with the consecutive pistols they picked out for me. Thank you, Sarco, for an excellent price, excellent pistols, and SUPER EXCELLENT service. -very satisfied customer P.S. To be truthful, I am not sure that I am as happy with the generic 1911 mags I bought from Sarco. The pistol did not perform so well with them at the first range session.

Great gun
Darrell Wisneski (Manistee, MI) 3/11/2015 12:57 PM
Excellent quality at a great price. Fired only two mags as didn't have much time no failures and spot on accurate. Great beginners gun to get into the 1911 market. Will be adding another one to my collection soon.

Great Value
T J Freedom (Liberty, MO) 2/7/2015 11:42 PM
Just test fired my RIA 1911 on the farm today. Very pleased with the results. The gun printed 2 inch groups from about 20 feet. My eyesight it not good, so you younger folks could do much better, I'm sure. Great finish and fit for an entry level 1911. All parts appear well made. As a 1911 gunsmith, I plan to upgrade some of the major internal parts and install target sights. Yet, for function alone, I am very happy. Fired 50 rounds with no FTFs or FTEs. Worked like a machine. Thanks to Sarco for the bargain price and quick delivery !

THE BEST DEAL ON A 1911 THAT I HAVE FOUND.
CARROLL CALVIN (ST. FRANCISVILLE, LA) 1/7/2015 4:49 PM
AFTER SHOOTING THIS PISTOL I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE FIT AND FINISH, AND THE SMOOTH FUNCTIONING. I HAVE OWNED AT LEAST 6 OTHER BRANDS OF 1911'S IN THE PAST. THIS ONE IS AS GOOD AS THE BEST AND BETTER THAN OTHERS. IT IS FUN TO SHOOT AND IT WILL BE THE ONE THAT I KEEP.

NICE TRIGGER
CARROLL CALVIN (ST. FRANCISVILLE, LA) 12/30/2014 6:31 PM
IN YOUR DESCRIPTION YOU STATE THAT THE TRIGGER PULL IS 514 TO 512 POUNDS. I WONDER HOW YOU WOULD SHOOT A GUN WITH THIS KIND OF TRIGGER PULL.
