When you think of the reliable Ruger 10/22 Carbine, you automatically associate it with a platform that the average firearm enthusiast can work on and change it’s looks into a variety of hunting, target and military styles.
Well the time has finally arrived for the 10/22 to be dropped into our no alterations needed, conversion M1 Carbine Stock. On our stock the front band has the sling swivel just like the original M1 Carbine stock, not like others that offer it with the swivel in the stock, the wood finish replicates the GI tung oil finish and comes with handguard and steel but plate. Easy drop-in fit for any 10/22 action with the standard 18 1/2" tapered barrel.
The wood and color are so much like the real thing that people do a double take when they see it and realize it’s not an M1 Carbine.
The picture says it all ! ! ! Limited quantities get them while you can……
PLEASE NOTE SLING & OILER ARE NOT INCLUDED

I have been wanting one of these since I first saw it, and finally sprung for it when I saw it was back in stock. This stock fit my 10/22 perfectly, with zero issues. The factory poly finish I would say is OK at best: It is somewhat fragile and chipped in a couple spots when I first installed my action into it. This didn't bother me at all, as I had planned on refinishing it anyways. Overall, I still give it 5 stars as I think it is one of the best add-on one can buy for a Ruger 10/22. The included sling and oiler are a great bonus! I have since refinished the stock with a BLO finish and it looks fantastic. It even fooled one of my buddies who owns a real M1 Carbine- until he looked at it a little bit closer! Thanks for the great product and service Sarco!

Very nice stock, fits pretty well except the safety button cutout was a little off. The finish was a little light in the recessed areas, but some stain took care of that. I needed taller rings for my scope, but no big deal. No real problems with the sling - it was a little tight in the stock, but that's better than loose. Well worth the money, and it gets a lot of comments.

Review of Ruger 10/22 - M1 Carbine stock

I've been shooting for 50 years and recently got my first Ruger 10/22 carbine. I wanted to make up one of the M1 carbines from this rifle so I ordered the stock set which came with the sling and oiler. What a great stock set! I experienced great service from the supplier and very quick delivery. I was very pleased with the quality of it when it arrived. Machining on the wood was excellent, finish was very nice and the installed butt plate was well fitted. My 10/22 barrel and action fit very well. The mounting bolt hole was off just a tad as far as putting the mounting bolton the hole and having it line up and catch the threads. I had read in a review that if you relieved a bit of the wood around the hole on the inside of the stock whee the mounting bolt hole is, that it will work just fine. I took a wood countersink and relieved it just a bit by hand and the bolt went right in. Assembly was very easy and took very little time. I changed the sights on my 10/22 and put on a TechSight TSR200 and the carbine looks great! Since I shoot left handed, I am not putting the sling/oiler on my carbine - I mainly plink at 25 and 50 yards. The oiler/sling are a bit tight in the slot but I'm sure it would mount easily for someone who knows the tricks on how to do it. Would I recommend this stock? You bet I would! Would I buy it over again? The answer is a big yes! The carbine is well balanced and will be a fun rifle to shoot and enjoy. A big "thank you" to Sarco for the excellent service and for offering this fine product - it's a great value! I've already had some great compliments on it and I'm really proud of how it turned out and how it looks! Thanks Sarco!
Sincerely,
Jim neely
