Reversible for forests & arid landscapes. Best known for use in Vietnam, but used up through the 1980's and still regarded as an excellent pattern. Streong, well made , and normally used on the M1 pattern helmets. Slits arranged for use with other camouflage when needed. New mfr. Helmet cover only.

    Don't be put off by the saggy, mohawk-looking photo. Wash it to fade the bright colors a little (don't use hot water or it will shrink), take it wet from the washer and put it on the helmet. Stretch it around the helmet to smooth the folds, use a helmet band to keep it on while you flip the helmet over, then use an X-Acto knife to cut slits for the bales. Slide the bales in the slits, put the excess cover material inside the helmet, then pop in the liner. If you've stretched it well it will dry tight and smooth, with just a little folding at the seam at the top front (just like the originals.)
